At the heart of the Zillertal and the Tux Alps is probably the finest upland valley in Tyrol, the Tux valley. It is situated at an altitude of between 1300m and 3,250m, Tux is a dream in white. Towering majestically over the Tux valley, at the far end of the valley, stands the Hintertux Glacier.

Welcome to the Hotel Jäger in Tux im Zillertal

Our Hotel Jäger in Tux lies embedded in the middle of the enchanting Zillertal mountains.
Quiet and relaxation, fresh air and a beautiful landscape await you. Our hotel is located in Lanersbach, the main village of the Tux valley. This lovely village, situated in front of the majestic Tux glacier, is the social and cultural centre of the valley. The Hotel Jäger has a central but quiet location.
The best start to the day is a varied breakfast, which is why we place great importance on an extensive buffet. Spend cosy evenings with Zillertal local atmosphere in our parlours, or with a schnapps at our bar. Our chef will spoil you with local and international delights, as well as the special treat: venison from the local forests.
